This type of barberry is harvested in the early days of spring in such a way that farmers distribute barberry seeds from the branches and spread on large surfaces. This type of barberry is available about three to six months after the first picking of barberry from the tree, due to the time consuming process of production. In the production of this type of barberry, barberry is removed from the tree branch and the barberry seeds are not separated from the branch. The branches are then taken to closed halls, where they hang like raisins, or piled as much as possible in bulk. The halls space should be wide so that air and moisture can travel easily between seed and plant branches. These barberry seeds are on the branch until dry.
